Sesame Street Live

Well we went to Sesame Street Live this weekend. My friend Bree gave us the tickets last minute. Rick came with me! It was a nice day. Of course by Nicole's face you can see she was overjoyed! LOL!!!! I think she was a little too big for this, and we were kinda far away so it was just them dancing on stage. But none the less we had a good day!

Nicole and a puppy!

We went to a hiking trail in Sherborn this week and Nicole met this beautiful puppy named Ellie. They played for over a half hour! They were so cute together!

Westphals!

We went to the Westphals on Saturday for a nice visit. We havent seen them in so long. It was so nice to catch up with them. Their dog Harley passed away which was sad. But now they have two new puppies......Lacey and Chief! They were adorable. Nicole made cookies with her Aunt Nikki, had Aunt Kelly read her stories, Aunt Cathy made a sock puppet with her and Uncle Bill gave her cookies! LOL!!!!

Preschool Screening

On Wednesday we had an appointment to go to Bellingham Early Childhood Center for a preschool screening. Nicole was so excited. The teacher Mrs. Furman sat her down and asked her questions. About her body, alpahbet, numbers, stacking blocks. Mrs. Furman said Nicole was interesting because she likes to have the questions be exact. She asked where does Mommy and Daddy cook? Nicole looked at some pictures and didnt answer, the teacher pointed at the oven and said "how about oven?" Nicole said "No." The teacher said "No, not the oven?" Nicole said "No.....the stove not the oven" The teacher cracked up laughing. Nicole was right. Then she asked where trees come from....Nicole said "seeds". LOL!!!!!!!! The teacher loved her.

This program is an integrated program with special needs children. She thinks Nicole would be such a great leader and is already compassionate that it would just enhace Nicole. I am so proud of her.

We will hear back soon!

Pizza night

Hey everyone....the other night we decided to make our own pizza....Nicole is quite a good cook. She is very good at directions and loves to help me bake! After pizza we made from scratch a banana cake with buttercream frosting! She loved playing with the flour....messy mess.
