Kindegarten Orientation

Oh my goodness, my little Boo is going to kindegarten in the fall. We had orientation at the school. Where Nicole got a nice goody bag of supplies. She got to meet her teacher, go into her classroom, meet her classmates and go for her first ever bus ride. She loved it and cannot wait to go to school. I am so excited for her. She is going to love school. Yes my heart breaks that my little baby is getting big but so proud of her and excited for her!

Nicole's Song

Nicole wrote this song for me...really she thought about it and sang it. She is so damn cute!

Kelly's Graduation!

Kelly graduated from Wheaton College!!! We are so happy for her. Congrats Kel!

Garden

This year we planted some peppers, cucumbers, watermelons, canteloupes and onions! Thought we would try different things. The cukes and the watermelons are the only thing growing so far! We really wanted the peppers!
Nicole did such a great job helping! This year she has really grown alot and has been so helpful and involved in things. My Boo is getting so big.

Mike's graduation!

Mike graduated from college! So excited and so proud of him! He worked so hard and accomplished so much. He had a great party with alot of friends and family that love him and we are so proud of you!

Skipper is......

Nicole and I just put on the movie Madagascar 2...the penguins were on. The lead penguin is Skipper....he makes all the plans and is in charge. Nicole says to me "Momma you know who is Skipper?" "Grampy is, because he is the smartest one and Skipper is the smartest one."
Thought you might like that one Grampy!!!!!!!!!!!

Mothers Day

As always my husband and daughter make sure that i always get a great mothers day...did it again. We went to Maine for a couple of days and had an absolute wonderful time. We started with Nubble Light of course, then stayed at Anchorage Inn right on York Beach. I absolutely love Maine and we had such an amazing time there. Hopefully next year we can do the same!!!!!!

We took a ride to Kennebunk..the views are amazing here. We walked around these cliffs that were so scary. I got frozen trying to walk to the rocks...BUT i did it! So pretty here!

Nicole and Daddy racing to the beach!

Daddy being gross..UGH

My Boo and I at Ogunquit Beach, this beach is so beautiful. The sand is so soft and goes for miles. The town was quaint, really liked it here

Poor Daddy and his broken hand...after this week he took his cast off he couldnt take it anymore!

The beautiful lilacs in front of the hotel...they were magenta lilacs! Loved them!

Family time!

Nicole loves the beach..but the water was so cold i only let her in it for a minute!!

Duke!

Today we went to the Baypath Humane Shelter and wanted to see if there was any dogs that we "might" be interested in...and low and behold...there was Duke. A sweet, gentle older dog. He is 8 years old, has a bit of anxiety seperation...they say he can tear through a house if left alone. They are getting us a crate that will help us. He is so sweet.

Salisbury and Plum Island

We got in the car and headed somewhere new, Grammies vacation to the beach the first time wasnt so good...the water was freezing and windy so she didnt get to enjoy it. I will post about that next! LOL!

Salisbury was real pretty and i could not believe how big the beach was! It was huge! Makes you feel so small and realize how petty and small we are. Then we went to Plum Island and Newburyport! Which we all loved!

We hit up Newburyport, which happens to be lovely. It had quaint cobblestone streets with little shops up and down. There was a huge boardwalk and everyone was real friendly! I love it there!

This was down one of the side streets, there was a small park for kids, ice creams shoppes, and this rock structure and during the summer i think there are little water hoses that spray over these!

My amazing husband and I. This picture came literally 1 minute before we raced down the boardwalk...he hit his hand on the post and broke his hand! I still won the race..:)

Grammie, Daddy and Nicole hanging out on Plum Island!

Daddy and Nicole at some submarine, we got there at 10 of 4:00 and the tours close at 4:00 so the guy wouldnt let us in..mind you we were the only people there. I was so mad. LOL

A little teepee that was on the beach...earlier there was a man and a woman who had a cat dressed up and was taking its picture in here. LOL...so weird!

Mommy at the beach!

10 Things Tuesday, well its Friday

I have been so slacking on this blog for so long...i use to love doing this and updating everyone on what was going on, writing what happened during the day. I got side tracked and talking to an old friend today she was telling me how she missed her blog and how she would write things down and how happy she was. So i looked up my blog and realized me too. I missed this.

Ten Things Tuesday i use to do to remind myself of what was wonderful in my life....and so today i am going to do it....

10 Things Friday

1. My daughter..the absolute joy of my life. Last night she showed me she wanted an American Girl Wheelchair, she said she saved the money and wants to get one. The $20 that daddy gave her to get me ice cream on my birthday she still has, and said she needs to talk to daddy since she didnt use it can she have it. LOL...that a girl!

2. Nicole's prayer last night was so beautiful and unselfish, unlike mine. She said that she appreciated God. How beautiful...I appreciate God.

3. My husband for working so hard and smiling through his tiredness.

4. My dear old friend...you will always be my friend no matter if i dont talk to you for years...i am always here.

5. My dad. I miss him more than words can say, but now i am at the point of letting go of all my anger and realizing what a great dad he was to me. He made me strong, smart and who i am.

6. My mom for listening to me...especially when i drone on and on about whatever useless crap i talk about.

7. Samantha...just for knowing me and not hating me for it.

8. Fresh brewed coffee. Seriously. we got a Keurig and its good...but it broke and havign a fresh pot has a world of good to it! Love it!

9. Calendars! Love mine...love looking at all the little days what i put in them and what is to be for the next days...i really love it.

10. MYSELF...always a work in progress but always finding who i am....i am grateful that i am so self aware.

Sooooo...i am back!
